MAKING THE CREATIVE CONNECTION: Arts, Ideas and Economic Progress in Greater Phoenix (2006)
Arts, ideas and economic progress are strongly connected. They are part of a “creative cycle” where people create art and ideas that contribute to an attractive quality of life but also to a prosperous economy. This report provided the first ever baseline measure of Greater Phoenix’s creativity-based economy, finding more than 100,000 people working in at least 150 creative occupations.
